Re: calling all lake mead boaters! nevada
That looks like a nice receiver. I like Pandora but we can't get consistent internet in Temple Basin so we mostly listen to an ipod or Surius/XM. I just upgraded the stereo in my Bronco for off road. I got a marine system for the waterproof/dustproof factor, and got one without a CD player since I've now officially downloaded my entire CD collection from over 25 years. The unit is much smaller and lighter and the CD's skip too much anyway. The cool factor I liked about it is you can insert an SD card behind the removable faceplate, and with an SD card up to 64mb you can store a LOT of songs/albums. The only problem is you can't choose the order, or randomize the playing with the card.
Finally decided it was time to upgrade my stereo receiver. Just ordered the Clarion M303, Pandora, iPod, SiriusXM and what I'm really going to like is Bluetooth. Also ordered the MF1 wireless remote, supposed to be watertight and float, we'll see. It works on RF so I don't need line of sight for it to work, as oppose to other wireless remotes that use IR, again, we'll see. Should be here next week and installed for weekend testing.
