Maybe... http://www.bloomberg.com/apps/news?pid=20601116&sid=ahZTxfdEBZak&refer=africa

Oil demand slacking... oil prices dropping... and the dollar strengthening all in the same article... if investors get nervous, it'll pop sooner. Of course, Goldman Sachs is likely to come out and say they expect prices to hit $160 or higher by the 4th of july or labor day, etc... if the market doesn't respond because it's saturated, they'll turn around and sell their investments which will cause a giant pop in the bubble.

I seem to remember them saying the same thing when it hit $50 a barrel, I said we are heading for $75, and the “bank & finance” analyst in Frankfurt said I was a nut, trust us, we are experts they said.

Well? What happened to the busting oil bubble these guys were predicting four years ago?

They also said the dollar was coming back strong, that was when it was at $1 to the Euro, it is now at $1.53.

Well I am still waiting.

The oil price did fall a little today, but gas prices just went up again.

Yep, and the dollar got stronger... and Opec said they don't think the price can remain so high through the end of the year...

BUT... gas prices still went up... because supposedly, gas stations aren't making enough profit from us... even the ones that are corporate owned by the oil companies that are posting dual digit billions in profits... hmm... Oh well... won't hold up forever, like I said. After the oil market collapse, gas stations will be downright threatened into lowering their prices.

I have a pretty good track record with predicting the whole oil thing... except last week when I said there were rumors about gas prices falling about a quarter by the end of the week... oh well, can't be right 100% of the time.
