And for now, I have a jack stand on a 4 wheel furniture dolly.
That will let me push her forward a bit and push her back in when the daily rains hit

My knee brace is pulled away from the hull at the base. Guess I will be getting a rivet gun, or can bolts work?

Small carriage head SS bolts will work, SS lock nuts and SS washers. 5200 or some other marine sealant. You're off and running.

Rivet gun if you have more than a few to do.

Yah man, rivet gun is awesome to have. I was just using mine this morning, don't know how I got along without it!

Thanks 64...
There's also a few that are missing from the transom where the knee brace bolts through.
The pic earlier shows one.

Re: Dang, I'm going to be a SuperSport Guy this Sat (for $250.00)

would you guys use pop rivets on the knee brace?

I was thinking 3/16" or 1/4" solid rivets...pound those big SOBs home with one of these bad boys: air riveting hammer.

I'm thinking of pulling my knee brace to replace a missing rivet at the rear seam which is why I ask (sorry CbK for the partial Hijack  )

Discovering quite a few issues as I peel back years of neglect on top of misguided liberal applications of household white silicone.
Knee brace was entirely pulled from the hull.
Every single rivet was busted.
The stern skin....well the piece of wood that was used between the Johnny and the transom did what they do best, trap water and accelerate the eventual corrosion of the aluminum.

Looks like a great place for about 1/4" thick chunk of AL sealed w/5200 to replace the water trapping wood cushion.

How are the knee brace rivets through the bottom of the hull? FUBARed too?

Fubar pretty much sums them up GA
Most snapped, a couple pulled out with the brace.
Going to have to spend some quality time behind the drill, on my back under her.
Oh and of course I have a split on the flange of the brace where it attaches to the transom.
No dammmm wonder she took on a few hundred gallons on her initial "lets see how bad it is" splash.

On the brace stuff only the rivets are FUBAR. Sounds like all the rivets need to be replaced to make sure they're good. So the brace can go to a welder for a de-split. Maybe think about adding a couple of extra braces. But then again, a new transom goes a long way to stiffen things up.

I was kicking around an extra brace, but since I need this one welded I may have them add a wider area to the flange for a wider "bite" to the transom

You could add some stiffeners to the wider flange too. Just some flat stock at right angles to the flange and trimmed around the fat part going to the hull bottom. Weld the stiffener to the flange and where the trim work is done. Just leave enough room to get to the mounting nuts.
