Re: Do you let your dogs or dog run loose?
I'll half to keep my eye out for that brand shock system. I'll look on Ebay also. Appreciate the input.
Nope if you go to Jamaica maybe it will be nice and warm, we do have shorter cold spells then you all do up there, it was in the 70s earlier this week but the temperature changes really quick. We also seem to have a dryer winter or the winds can be really harsh. Living on a mountain doesn't help. I'm from Patersonville New York, between Rochester and Schenectady (or however you spell that). You may can see at times that moving to Alabama hasn't helped my spelling any
, thank god for spell check. My father broke his leg while stepping out of his truck on to ice when we lived up there.
You can get an Innotek system from Cabellas with enough extra wire to cover 2 acres plus 2 extra collars for $550.00. You could always expand that later too. I know right now is a tough time to be dealing with this. Christmas and all. $$ is tight. Just something to think about. You could probably find it cheaper on ebay too. Innotek is a good brand.
I don't know why I didnt think that Alabama got that cold. You know its slippery but its still a shock every time. When youre in the air anticipating the landing you know you have that face of shock. Then it hurts and youre mad and cold and if you dont get up soon you'll be mad cold hurt AND wet... AARGHHH. then ya look around to see if anybody saw how graceful you looked.
