Our dog spike is 11 months old, and we are looking to begin crate training with him. He has had several accidents in the past but only when we are not around. He is slightly visually impaired, mainly his peripheral. One question i want to ask is, does it matter if we move his crate from spot to spot in the house? Will it mess up his routine? Should we just find one spot to put his crate in the house? Where would you recommend? We have a two story house with a deck, we are not sure where we should put his crate. We know already that we have to put water in the crate, his favorite bone, and one of his favorite blankets to make him comfortable. Could the garage be a possibility ? Or our tile hallway? Or the small backyard? Also he is a very obedient mutt with super acute hearing and smell, he gets along with everybody and all animals. He is about 35 lbs at the moment. My dad lets him out in the morning before work and after work to do his business and eat his food. Currently he is staying in our garage when we are gone. We have figured out which size crate to buy. Thanks so much.
