LOL today we had a severe weather warning, followed by a possible tornado sighting, then it snowed an inch! WTF?I was working in Police Dispatch and we had to stop and watch it all happen in 10 minutes! Crazy Colorado weather.... and yes you can keep the humidity!!

Yeah yeah yeah keep the humidity... Thanks:rolleyes:. Snowed a whole inch, Waa waa waa:p I'll drink the very first beer just for you this weekend;).
The water's just a little bit choppy this time of year; I'll make sure I don't spill a drop of yours:D.

Safe and happy boating always!!!

Boy are you lucky! It's been so hot I had to wear shorts and a t-shirt while I waxed my boat.

Course, it has been cold in the mornings, gives us a chance to air out the house and save some money on electric.

Had to cancel a cruise this weekend due to waiting too long for a kennel space, but we are going to take a lunch cruise around St.Pete somewhere. You are invited if you can make it on such short notice.

...And you didn't put any wear and tear on your boat!!!:D Ya gotta look on the bright side of things. Just think how unfortunate we are, having to put hours on our motors and it's not easy stuffing the cooler full of beer and ice. OK, I'll stop now.
It's good to hear from you Buddy:cool:. I hope your holiday goes better than planned. I'll be working. I'll be smoking a 16+lb turkey for about 13 hours before work on Thursday. I work with a bunch of lunatics, uh uh... I mean... really good people. A bunch of them have tasted the smoked turkey I've brought to work in the past and threatened, I mean asked me to smoke one for the Thanksgiving shift. Anyway, hope everything's going really well with you. I'll speak to you soon.

Safe and happy boating always!!!

You're killing me Bob;). It sucks when you have to work for a living:rolleyes:. I hope your cruise is terrific. Nothing but great weather and great times in your forecast:D. We've gotta meet up in the spring when I make that first trip down the ACF. It's looking like April/May. There'll be plenty more after that too. SCALLOPS...Mmmmm:D.

Safe and happy boating always!!!

That's quite a boat you have there... Somehow, I just don't feel too badly for you;)... ...even if ya can't use it as often as you'd like. Sitting in the boat in 10F with flurries fallin' on ya:(. Maybe I do feel a little bad fer ya. Just a little maybe. My suggestion is snowboard therapy. Pretty soon you'll be talking about consoling yourself with the boat 'cause there's no more snow on the mountains. I'll speak to you soon Buddy.

Safe and happy boating always!!!

First of all... SHUT UP!!!. You're 42?... I'm 43:eek:. If I'm not ready to be getting older yet, don't you even start:p. In so far as "don't you ever go to bed?"... I work night shift 1900-0700hrs. Sometimes it turns into 24hours and longer. When I'm not on a transport, and the Emergency Center isn't slammin', is when I do most of my posting. Sorry to hear about your knee surgeries... Thank the Good Lord for wakeboarding, huh? When I lived up north, double diamonds were a way of life. I still haven't wakeboarded yet. How similar/different from snowboarding is it? Talk to me:cool:. I used to surf and I was a skateboarder as a teenager. I was in my thirties when I first went snowboarding... There aren't many similarities other than appearance. How does wakeboarding compare to snowboarding?

PS: Happy Turkey:D

Well if your in powder then they are very similar but if your on hard pack your calves take a beating, obviously at my age I prefer the powder but to be honest I havent been in several years now and I never was into doing the tricks on snowboards, always looking for waist deep powder. My knees are complete hockey related knees, to much competing with the teenagers and then coaching them now refereeing them skating has been tough on my knees and this last year is the first year I havent been able to pull a flip off on a wakeboard since I was 30 or so, it was never pretty but I could get all the way over but I can't complain, Wakeboarding is much more forgiving on your body much slower speed so the get offs don't hurt as much unless you get stupid and try a flip. My true love in water sports is slalom skiing but I only do that if I find glass, I can cut and jump with the best of them but finding a patch of glass is pretty rare anymore around here. I guess after so many years of play hard work hard Its about time I slowed down a bit.

Don't slow down too much. That's what's leading you to believe you're getting old:(. Suck it up and drive on!!! :D I'm looking forward to wakeboarding. I'll let you know how my first time out goes. should be a blast. Gotta go for now.

Safe and happy boating always!!!
