I am a first time boat owner so I know next to nothing about boat motors. I just just my boat out for the second time yesterday. When I was loading my boat onto the trailer I noticed a hose that was full of holes. So on my way home I stopped at a boat store and showed them the hose that I needed to replace. If I'm remembering right they said it was the exhaust bellow. I bought a new one and went home to change it. I was thinking it would be fairly easy, after all it's just a hose held on by two clamps. Just getting the old one off was a pain. After getting the old one off I put the end facing the front of the boat on first. It took awhile because of limited room but I got it on. I'm thinking the other end will be easy because it's way easier to reach. WRONG!!!!!! I could of swore they gave me the wrong size bellow because it seems way too short. But they assured me it's the right one. For the life of me I can't stretch this thing out, get it where it goes and tighten the clamp. It's about to drive me insane! There has to be a trick to getting this done. Can someone please help me? I'm not sure exactly what type motor I have. But I took a couple pics.
