Dead end product IMHO IE 9 beats the tar out of it in every measurable way. (So does Google Chrome)

IE 9 will only work if you have one of the 2 unstable operating systems Vista or Windows 7.

Firefox 4 is great........way ahead of IE in my opinion

I actually like Windows 7, far less problems than Vista, of course on my main computer I am still using XP pro..

I will never again use IE.

Yup and I use XP and chrome......... oh year regular oil........ a chebbe and two yota's......... even used the yellow death penzoil in my johnnyrude :facepalm:

Firefox 4 is great........way ahead of IE in my opinion

I have Vista home basic (the worst version of Vista??) and I have never, ever had a single issue with this operating system.

So tell me why I need Firefox 4?? The only feature to come along in a while that I care about was tabbed browsing. I hear chrome is fast.

It's a pretty in depth comparison. Chrome is the clear winner but there are some privacy issues with chrome (sends info on everything you do to Google).

Internet Explorer is the clear loser (Sorry Bubba). This test does not include Firefox 4.

I installed Firefox 4 and none of my addons would work. I had to back it out. It's too new. I think I'll wait a while more.

It disabled most of my addons, it did leave The Weather Channel up in the menu bar so I think I will run it for now.

Check for updates again to see if that helps ya.

Some won't show up because its built in with FF4 now.

Sorry but that is an old article talking about IE 8. IE 9 is the FASTEST browser out there right now.

I did not catch that it was IE8. I stand corrected.

I want to try chrome but all the bad press I've hears about them recording everything you do makes me a little bit leery. I think we have IE9 installed at home (I'm at work right now). I'll give it a shot. I may even run some of the benchmarks in the link I posted to compare FF and IE myself.
