just was wondering how the back is doing. hope its well . I haven't been on much to keep up on things this week .

Thanks for checking. Its been a little over 2 weeks since the surgery.I'm up and getting around pretty well.I go back to the doc on the 4th and find out when i'll get back to work. The worst part is the boredom of not being able to do much.

Look at it this way... you miss the move to Mooresville. I moved a company once... no fun at all. Here's to a complete recovery. Cheers!

they will say you did it on purpose to miss the moving. although i guess you sort of moved almost every race.

Thanks guys,The move is no big deal.They are keeping our division in the same shop behind the speedway.It just gives us more room and running back and forth to the other shop will now be a shorter drive.

glad to hear you are doing well i just got home from my knee surgery just had to scope it . he took almost all the cartilage out and said it should be fine for a few years to come . I go back and see him on the 3rd and hope he lets me go back since i will be stir crazy by the end of today.

I have been out of work so long i'm getting used to it.I go back to the doc on the 4th.Sounds like we both should be working in a few weeks...vacations over...

can't consider it a vacation since i can't do nothing fun. tv sucks there is nothing on during the day. Plus i had the choice to work till the surgery so just finished friday unlike you having to do test after test. Did they remove discs or fuse them?

Vacation was a bad thought,i can;t really do much either...

They went in and removed one disc and cut down another that was herniated.I think thats how the doc explained it anyway.The fusion will be my next surgery if i keep having problems.I may get brave and get the leaf blower out today,gotta do something!

You dont want that fusion.Thats what they had to do to Kelly the second operation.Not good in her case anyway.

I know.I'll avoid the fusion as long as possible.My brother in law had the fusion a few years ago and he does not get around well at all.
I'm getting around fine now and feeling no pain in my leg.I can live with the back pain that i still have.Just not sure if i'll be able to do the 12 hour a day driving for work anymore.Hopefully they will offer me a different position...

i've been taking 800 mg of ibuprophen 3 times a day, so long i can't remember. keeps the inflamation down in my back.

Well gary I guess my "vacation" continues for 2 more weeks for rehab work. but atleast i can get out now and do some things. How was your appt?
