we have a very popular bar n grill/marina on the river here called captain's quarters

I also considered 'FULL COMPENSATION' or 'WELL COMPENSATED' .... 'FLOAT'N RETRIEVER'

I've been trying to settle on a name for a year and a half...... now it's crunch time.

The dual meaning is the hardest part.... with friends or the party crowd anything goes but If I want to load up the parents, sisters, niece, and nephew, it's another set of rules.

Can't really help with the name but wanted to say "congrats" on getting to the naming it point. I know you have put a lot of work into it for a while now. To steal a line I saw on another thread.....whenever I look at the photo in your signature.....I always think.......honey, we shrunk the truck......Good luck.

Stimulus Check
Healthcare Plan B

If you fish: Meals on Reels

Never Again III

A lot of good names are made out of family initials and names. "Sea Kay" was owned by a neighbor whose initials were C.K.

If you pick a name that pokes at others, think twice. An orthodontist here named his "Braces." His patient's fathers were members of the same yacht club and didn't think it was funny. A developer named his "First Draw." It was a real laugh later in his bankruptcy proceedings.

And whatever you do, don't call it "Wet Dream." That's just tacky.

Well, in the vein of towing, how about;

"HookerLover"
"SeaHooker"
"H2Ooker"
"HookinAin'tEasy"

It can be named anything you like, something that means something to you, something you decide. We can throw things around, but you really need to come up with it. That's my feeling. I wouldn't worry about it being a play on words, or something funny - just something that means something to you. Ours is GFR? - which of course means Go For a Ride? When we ask our dog this question, she runs to the garage, sits, and stares at the boat. No one else has a clue what it means and that's fine. Good luck with it.

For all it's worth, I think DuckHunterJon has the right idea about naming your boat being a personal thing. You'll be happiest in the end if it comes from you and your family. That's the way for it to have the truest and purest meaning to you.

Jon, I love your choice in naming your boat.

Dual Personality

You have the Party Side and the Responsible side....of course you can blame the name on the motors since there are two

You might not be old enough to remember the "Red Ryder." Astride his mighty steed Thunder, Red was a tough cowpoke who lived on Painted Valley Ranch in the Blanco Basin of the San Juan Mountain Range with his aunt, the Duchess, and his juvenile sidekick, Little Beaver, who rode his horse, Papoose, when they took off to deal with the bad guys.

I actually considered mullet at one time.... for about 3 seconds lol

I also considered 'off the hook' 'jobsite' as in "no, boss, I'm on the jobsite right now"

I hear ya about a personal thing..... BUT I'm looking for witty....

Everybody needs a house and a car, but nobody "needs" a boat. Its just a frivolous toy.

So name it "Toyboat".

First thing that came to mind was "TWIN TWISTER". You can tell your relatives it's in reference to the twin props. You can tell your buddies what ever you want.

One of the funniest names I have seen was posted on a thread here somewhere.."My Dixie Wrecked" Seems odd until you say it out loud a few times! Got to admit, it's witty! I wrote it on a piece of paper and told my wife this was going to be the name of our boat, she looked at me with that typical this doesn't make sence look, but after the 3rd time of saying it out loud, she busted out laughing!
