Are they the sierra kit?
Yes
Too many reports of problems with intallation and longevity of non-OEM bellows for me to even consider them. Changing the bellows is a major pain in the backside and I don't want to do it any more than absolutely necessary. If it costs me a couple hundred extra bucks, it's more than worth it. (Added to that is the catastrophic downside of having your bellows fail while on the water. I'll pass on that, thank you.)
Certainly valid. Don't know how often the bellows fail without warning--I inspect mine fairly frequently. Replaced with OEM when I first got the boat since I think they were likely 20+ years original (remember talking with a smug dealer who was convinced that it was beyond the abilities of a first time DIYer...). Replaced 4 years ago as maintenance; OEM still looked new. Not going to replace again until I see some signs of wear. My boat is definitely not "set it and forget it". Just removed a brand new looking sierra impeller as well. Not sure how old it was, at least a couple of seasons. Using QS for a replacement, as it was cheaper than the Sierra. Going to wait 3 years for the next change.

The price difference isn't even that much. We have this boat almost 20 years, bellows has been changed 2x once in 2005 and once in 2016. The OEM ones are only like $60 for the Cobra. I use OEM whenever I can for the bellows, impellers, fuel filters, etc. The price difference is really insignificant all things considered. The reality is that aftermarket is sometimes easier to find locally.
The ones that are listed from Quicksover are over $400, the ones from Ciara are only like 80 or maybe 90. Can somebody put me in the direction to find a good sad that’s not gonna break the bank

Chinesium copies. You get what you pay for. No one is going to tell you how wonderful aftermarket chinese rubber is, whether it is Sierra, SEI or one of the other sorta nameless brands. You just gotta jump one way or the other. Pick your poison.

Here is a full transom reseal kit for an Alpha One Gen 1, genuine Quicksilver - it's $330. I paid $255 for the same kit in Feb 2021...crazy how much it's gone up.

Strong sentiment that oem merc are longer lasting and better fitting.

if you want to try a less expensive your call.

I don't know... I seem to recall a number of people using Sierra or other aftermarket bellows who had the u-joint bellow repeatedly slip off the gimbal housing. That would let a lot of water into the boat pretty fast.

Anyone know where I can get that plastic insert that holds the water hose to the housing?
