Congrats on taking a big ? out of taking a big.... You daughter and sil will definitely not have any plumbing issues going forward. They may not realize it but it is a huge thing. Enough carp going on with a house without worrying about where carp is going. Way good dad deed you are doing!

Thanks guys !
Ok talk me out of this ..project boat
After getting the Glassmaster back on the water . I want to make my own fishing set up . I could hang Chris's 50 rude on there and make kinda like a flats boat . Keep it light and down to the bear minimum . Nice and open with a big casting deck .
I know the guy wants 50 bucks to clean up his yard .

Clean Slate. Would make a very stable fishing platform. Not sure I'd pay $50 bucks though. He should pay you to haul it off!!!:D

Boat / Pool Deck Textured Resurface
Anyone used it for there boat deck that you know of ?
--HI there Sphelps, I was just lurking in your thread, Nice Work. I did call/em the mfg of the flooring product. Looked to nice to me to be true. They responded that they could not warranty it and that it would have adhesion problems on gelcoat/fiberglass. Give them a shout out before you apply it.

Really good looking plumbing work, sir...from just looking at the pics I have learned a lot...
Two things...
I like the use of the auxiliary grab handle on the shovel...
And a question about the plumbers strap for the PVC...
I am not in the construction trades and only have a vague notion of the stuff used, but is that PVC plumbers strap actually available in places like HD or Lowes? Just curious, cause I had never seen that type, which from this distance looks like some kind of plastic...?

BTW, one of these...

Plus, some of these...

And one of these...

Make for a great extended boating excursion throne...:watermelon:

Happy Friday!:D

Hi GT, That strapping is referred to as "Plastic Band Iron" It's very handy for plumbing work and easy to work with. Available nearly any big box and or plumbing supply.
On another note, but in regards to running the 2 vents thru the roof {which you prob. did already** you can join them together @ 2' above
the highest fixture/flood level rim and then put 1 vent/penetration out the roof. Less holes, less work. Falls in code also.

Thanks kc , the reasoning for the 2 vents through the roof was for future ,if necessary, cleaning out with snake .
That way I can run it through both bathroom waste lines . Otherwise no telling which side it would land in.

What a nice looking project that would be. Not much to tear down, it's already done. You can even go with a centre console style. Good luck.

Nope, sorry, can't do it...talk you out of it, that is...
Heck if I could score something like that around here, I don't think the Admiral would even mind......well maybe...
How much do you think it would cost to ship it down here...?...LOL

Uuuhhggg ! Well I,m gunna check it out this afternoon . Would have to air up the tires on one of the trailers to haul it though. If I get it, it will have to sit for a while . Like prolly a year .. Clear title is a good thing ..

That's OK, just when you haul it home, clean it out a bit, turtle it and raise it off the ground with some blocks or something...then in about a year's time, when you are ready to tackle it, it won't look like part of the landscape...;)

MBS ! There must be a cure .
8 inches shorter and narrower than Chris's GM .. Should make a nice fishing rig eventually ..
Young guy with a wife and 2 kids . He took 30 bucks for it . I think the 50 hp should push it just fine ..
