Im definatly leaning toward the rustoleum
Im very curious to ser how it looks sprayed
Will finish 1 hardner work in the rustoleum
Also anyone tried thinning rustoleum with urathane grade reducer?
Urethane thinner won't work!! Do NOT use it. Totally different chemistry. Yes any Acyrlic Enamel Hardener will work with Rustoleum. You WILL be amazed at how it turns how. Very smooth and shiny and a Hard Finish. Let it cure for 2 weeks then buff her out.

Should i do anything to the tops of the flotation boxes so if any water gets on them through the rod holders its not just going to sit on the foam and creep down the sides
I was thinking grind the foam flat snd a layer of csm??

I would seal it with poly and cms. Once you cut the skin off the foam it is more susceptible to absorbing water.

I was thinking the same thing also. Got scared so I used Woods recipe and got reducer. I just painted my tank coffin with that recipe and it turned out great! Look on my post today.

It depends on the temps when you're painting 75-85 I'd use Acetone 85-90 A 50/50 mix of Mineral Spirits and Acetone 90+ just use Mineral Spirits

Just caught up on your build...GREAT work so far. When I painted mine, I did the hull first, then, much later, the top after it was final installed.

I spent all day sanding today
I got the hull and cap all ready to paint
Hopefully next weekend if the weather is good
Im going to paint the hull with WOG's
Rustoleum mix ratio of hardner and thinner
And im going to spray it with my hvlp
Approximatly how much paint will i need
Will 5quarts be enough for 2 coats on the hull and cap
I just dont want to run out half way through spraying
