Maybe look at it like this, the boat is 26 years old and now needs a tank. Your going to do aa better job then the original manufacture, but even if it was done just as good, you going to have the boat in another 24 years?

AD, do you have your math right? you do realize its 2020....

trying to remove a belly tank from a 1974 center console. The tank was surrounded by foam, .

last time I did math, that is closer to 46 years

This is my retirement boat and last boat. In another 24 years I will be 94 so yup, I will probably still be boating....:)….. Hmmm, maybe I better make it solid for another 35 years.... I got plans....:)..
