Maybe look at it like this, the boat is 26 years old and now needs a tank. Your going to do aa better job then the original manufacture, but even if it was done just as good, you going to have the boat in another 24 years?

This is my retirement boat and last boat. In another 24 years I will be 94 so yup, I will probably still be boating....….. Hmmm, maybe I better make it solid for another 35 years.... I got plans......
