I would go down with the frame to a glass shop and have them cut a new piece of tempered for you, it would be cheaper than polycarb and plexi I dunno about it even being serviceable in that application.

Hey H20 Mann the original was actually plexi. Pulled it apart and matched it perfectly, I have actually already cut the new piece and am ready to install it just need to put it in the frame and rivet it in place.

agree with the others, that "comp" wholly lacks the infamous "pizazz" and your boat has it in spades. get some sunset pix of her on the water on a calm evening, with the reflections of the water and the awesome black paint relfecting off each other, then list it at 5.

Are rehab'd boats like houses, and $4975 will attract more buyers then a $5K boat? Or is it less???? :watermelon:

Good luck picking THE number, what ever it is.

Anyway, for sure shoot the CL pix as Glen suggests above.

List is getting short. Nice pencil BTW. How was/is it helpful to this process, it isn't even sharpened.

Oh yeah that's right I remember reading about some of those SS's that had plexi. I though it was glass when I saw the picture of it cracked.

It took forever to shape that plexi I cut it with the grinder then shaped it with the belt sander.

Yeah JB she is due for a sharpening.

I am having a tough time coming up with a number. I am not expecting a huge amount of profit out of this thing, she is a pretty boat and all I am just not sure what the market is going to bear here.

I sold some more of donor boats hardware today, so that helps the tab a little.

Hook the electrical switches up going to top coat the motor when I get home from work tonight. Mount and rig the motor mount the steering, mount trailer fenders. and she is done.

Cowling needs painted. And basically its down to just mounting stuff in the boat. Murphy's visit from last weekend is fixed

That's sharp Sig! Grey will look much better against the black than the original color scheme!

Looks real good Sig. By the looks of your shop it's going to take you as long to clean it up and put it back together as it did to flip the SS. It's amazing how big a mess we can make in the final stages of putting a boat back together.
