How come someone who burns toast and sees Jesus or Mary's image in the toast, will believe its a miraculous event and wear the toast around their neck for the rest of their lives....

But that same person absolutely refuses to believe that the message that mysteriously shows up in their rear view window (WASH ME) was done by the finger of God?

Zm, do I recall correctly that you consider yourself a Libertarian? If so, you would love Neal Boortz take on voting qualifications. Personally, conservative that I am, I tend to agree, 100%. Why should we have welfare recipients deciding who is in power?

Says who Haut. Show me in the Constitution where the right to vote, in national elections, is written. The net result of your premise is that all those near-do-wells end up renaming your County with some politically correct name.

The people who hold their own weight should be able to vote, those that rely on the public teat for their daily sustanance have absolutely no right to get into my pocketbook by vote.

Not officially, but mostly. I don't think anyone that doesn't pay taxes should be allowed to vote...because they really don't deserve any say in how my tax money is spent...

Problem is, no matter who gets voted in, the people voting them in look like dumb arses. Look at the fine choices we have to select from. Sometimes the choice makes sense at the time. That all changes with a couple of hours time. It does not take long to come to the conclusion that someone screwed up.
