Why do you need 4 water heater hoses? I take it that you are going to have a water heater on the boat? What will it be for? A shower or sink? Sorry to ask a dumb question... I may not have undersood you post..

Without a closed cooling system you won't get any heat out of the heaters will you?

Re: hull extension in progress with picks

well after sundays work on the boat.....monday evening was a wash as i had a major deleveries......we didnt get done till 11 pm.

last night ...(tues) i had a few clean up jobs to do on the boat before i could do what needed to be done......

the mechanic called.......he is finally ready to cut out the t plate. the boat goes there today...(this morning....now)

number one....the gas tank area had to be gellcoated......

then the cap had to be fit back on

a bazillion boats had to be moved from the front of the shop.

the boat cleaned out and made ready for the trip.

well i started to get the boat gellcoated....that was done in a snap.....

then the boyz came over and we went to fit the cap on.......sorry i didnt get pics of that process......its the 5th time ive put the cap on......its getting easyer.....i have developed little triks....like use a paint stir stick as a wedge to get the sides in.....we....(three of us) had the cap back on in under 3 minits......
uasually a cap re fit is done with lots of sailors words.....a few tools being thrown.....and banged up toes from kicking a steel trailer. next time....i promise ill get pics...

after the guys left i moved all the boats out of the way......
and pulled the trailer out.

man ....there was dust every where....:D

well.....i checked all the lights and stuff and started the trip to the west side where the mechanic is.........wham....the guys with the lights on the top of their cars got behind me and turned them on.

it seems my running lights had develpoed a short....again... ....(i gotta get these lights done once and for all)

well, they didnt give me a ticket....but instead of going on the trip....i just came home. ill make the trip this morning and wait for the mech to do the job....and return the boat.....ill get more pics of him cutting out the t plate if possible

cheers

Gosh, aren't trailers fun?

The last time I drove mine long distance, the lights worked, but the electric brakes went out :\ I was still safe, but it was a pain.

I've also had a taillight fall off onto the highway and get dragged. I noticed when I got strange looks from other motorists :)

Get a complete waterproof light set from princess auto. I just did my quad trailer for under $50. Get the LED lights as they are brighter and easier on the electrical system in the truck and your not always changing bulbs. Any word from the guy in Van?
