Totaly up to you, Your next tank would probably be better, Hard to tell. Look at Links post, he actually suffered a setback before he noticed an improvement.

Re: I absolutly cant beleive it!!!

On my last post we had just broke 19 MPG and filled up in Longview WA.
I wanted to do a 50/50 test. Half Freeway and Half in town stop and go. So I noted the mileage when we got off the freeway and when that was doubled with in town driving I filled up.
17.58 MPG not bad at all :) 4000 lb van with a little V6 and the AC on full time.

Will be filling up this week with all in town stop and go. Will be instresting to see the difference from when we started playing with this.

Well, I'm just finishing up my first tank with GTA.
I'm running it in a 1987 GMC 3/4 ton conversion van, 3 speed auto trans, throttle body on a 305 v8 5L, supposedly producing 158 hp, 149,000 miles.
This vehicle has always been a dog, you could always feel a shudder and a slight knock under "attempted" heavy accelleration. Had it since new and no tune-ups ever seemed to help.

It definitely has smoothed out the motor some, and it accerrates smoother and quicker (don't ask how I know this).

Used to have to push the petal to the floor and wait 1 second for it to shift into passing gear, and then it would generally just produce more rpm but not much more power.
Now, push it half to 3/4 down and it shifts instantly and provides a welcome head buck and accelleration!!!.

No mileage check to report, yet.
First towing to be done today.

Thats why I decieded to write things down that could be measured. Same thing that happened to me but how do you prove it :)

On my last fill up yesterday 298 miles of in town stop and go driving it came in at 14.99 yes it looks ok but 1/2 to 3/4 of the driving was with full loads of 1000-2000 lbs of people and gear.
7-8 people and ice chests etc.
MrsLink reminded me of that. She has now started to like playing with the results.
