During taking the starter off the motor where the ground is the piece snapped off tried jb kwik and it did not work wanting to know where i can get a powerhead
PM me.
I bought a powerhead that had been dropped and all the bosses for the starter and recoil mount were broken. Had them welded and redrilled and tapped the mounts. If the broken one is th one I think it is, it can be built up by a good welder and then redrilled.
call this guy i was going to get this powerhead but i found a complete motor.
Brian at Parts Wharehouse www.obparts.com he wanted 95.00 for a complete running head hopefully he still has it his #270-618-5200. I hope that helps! Good luck.
ok i posted a couple of months ago about a powerhead i got the piece welded and the motor is back together running but the plug wires are all messed up any one know of a schematic or some info about this process
Pull the flywheel, pull the mag plate, 4 phillips screws hold it down. Pull the wires and replace with new, the ends screw into the coils, the other end pull the boots off and the spring locks. Put the tip through the new wire (spring locks) , put some dielectric grease in the boots and shove the new wires throught.
