Re: In Need Of Powerhead 1965 18hp

PM me.
I bought a powerhead that had been dropped and all the bosses for the starter and recoil mount were broken. Had them welded and redrilled and tapped the mounts. If the broken one is th one I think it is, it can be built up by a good welder and then redrilled.

PM me

Plug wires need replacing?

Pull the flywheel, pull the mag plate, 4 phillips screws hold it down. Pull the wires and replace with new, the ends screw into the coils, the other end pull the boots off and the spring locks. Put the tip through the new wire (spring locks) , put some dielectric grease in the boots and shove the new wires throught.
