Not sure but I think we got alaska in the short end of a trade so it's still your fault.
Could be all the fiber glass that oops grinds on up there messen up the weather.

I have a buddy in thunderbay that I call and yell at every time it snows.

Our weather is so funny around here ten miles east of me they claim to have 11" on the ground bearly 4" where Im at. Gota love indiana

86 century, a little south of you in the Mississippi Valley we had backwards weather yesterday. Same system that dumped snow on you.

It was a counter clockwise low press. system pulling cold air from the north and moisture from the east. We got A LOT of rain monday and yesterday woke up to a dusting of snow. 5 miles north no snow at all. The southeastern counties of S. IL. got inches. Farther south in Tennessee, Mississippi, Arkansas etc. got inches. I don't think northern Illinois got any.

Just finally starting to get cold here. Can't complain, we actually had a nice Fall this year. Heck I could have been boating the past two weekends it was so nice, unfortunately we recently got 2" of rain in a day and the river is a mess.

Zero snow here in Victoria this year so far....no big surprise, pretty average so far actually. We get maybe a total of 2-5 days worth a year. However, they are saying this year its going to be unseasonably cold with more snow...so lets see what happens.
Today things are around 5-10? C. (approx. 40? to 50? in fahrenheit (american))....and the sun is out, which is a nice break here. We have been getting some days (nights?) of morning frost, etc tho'.
Personally, I'm hoping for a few days of snow soon because I have a set of snow tires on Craigslist that I'm trying to sell before Christmas!!...but no need here yet. Victoria's population are usually the last people in Canada to actually go and get/install snow tires, until it's too late.

Had an Alberta Clipper move in last night and the temp plunged to 23*F this morning.

I dog cussed Canada again.

WOW, waaay up north of you are lowest temps so far are upper 20's. It's that backwards weather thing I was talking about a few posts up.

I can't imagine not living in comfortable weather....but...you guys have some beautiful scenery. Some are truely blessed!

It's all relative. When I was 8 yrs. old in 1967 I experinced one of the biggest snow fall's ever in Chicago. That was FUN, but now 44 yrs. later I've had enough winter fun!

Captain, since you've have been there done that here's a little deja'vue for you. This afternoon I loaded a half a truck load of firewood into the farm truck and brought it up to the house. It was invigorating and and I enjoyed being out in the beautiful fall day, but.....

I'm dreaming about Costa Rico in a few years as long as my retirement account cooperates. :facepalm:

As "muck" as this is a winter "I HATE" post, today I moved my buddy, lock stock and 2 freezers 6 beds and dressers +++++++.
"HOLY CRAP", guys get your poop in a group!!just cause you have room does not mean you have to furnish every square inch!!



Lower back hurts, and I think I blew out a "NUT"

Well...winter is coming althought.....I did have to cut the grass today.......no kiddin' Rob!! The good news is that spring is only 2 months away.
Ok....all 'funnin', teasin, chest beatin' aside here and despite my 'Good Weather Victoria' angle here......I fully believe in the fact that weather or specifically...temperature has little to do with quality of life....and it never has. That said, I'll take cold and clear over warm and wet most days.

Winter is officially here! Sure our low today will be 70, but the WIND! OMG, it's 25 knots with 8-10 ft seas! Both of my dive trips have been cancelled today! We are expecting a severe cold front to drop the temps into the low 60s (high will be @ 82) and the winds will lay down! Yay!

Yeh.....Swabbie, I can't say I miss the snow and cold, but it sure is beautiful. I can see why some love it. My livelyhood wouldn't allow me to live in a climate where I can't boat year around. Why want something I can't have?

Costa Rica? A beautiful place and very affordable...but...may very well be bad for a marrage without a strong, trusting relationship. It's the women there.....you know what I'm talking about!!!!
