How do I know which ignition do I have ?
Also can my issue be a timing issue ?
I have a timing gun now, but with no jumper just a negative and positive and a sparkplug wire detector ?

So just unplug that 3 prong connector from behind the rpm gauge ? Or all the connectors from behind the gauge ?

you can unplug as many as you want but the important one will be the signal wire which is grey.

Ok so grey wire from behind the rpm gauge will do

so you guys think the timing will cause the engine to die when accelerating? Should I even mess with the timing ? I really don't want to.. I'm kinda scared I'll mess something up ..

Have you ever rebuilt a carb before? If you are worried about setting timing, I would be even more worried rebuilding a carb.

I'm confused about the 90 psi compression test then next test it's 125. Did u put oil in the cylinders to get it to pump up? Checking timing is part of the trouble shooting process. Do it. Then u can rule that out as the problem.

Guys

today I put more gas in the tank
and lifted her up about 2-3 inches
lowered the rear unit a little more
in the beginning ran rough about to die
then couple cranks later , she ran good warmed up
sounded a LOT better
and she doesn't die anymore when I give her gas !!!

Don't worry too much about the carb. They're not too hard to rebuild so long as you ensure that you take your time, clean everything and don't have any parts left over. Also, go to YouTube; There's a guy on there who documents the entire process step by step. Pretty straightforward job. Find an old shallow cookie sheet and rebuild it "in" that at a bench with no interruptions. From what I've seen/heard, the people who get into trouble are the ones who get distracted.

Pull it, clean it up, disassemble it, clean it, assemble it, clean it all in one sitting(hearing a theme?). Don't get halfway through then figure you'll come back to it later if at all possible. Now, once you get it all put back together then you can re-install it whenever you can...but once you "crack" it open...no breaks until it's done.

Guys it seems like when I lifted her and titled her more down she's running a lot better ??
Is it maybe the float in the carb due the incline driveway ?
or the trim more down?
I dont know but I'm happy !!
She still hard to start in the beginning and when she runs for the first min kinda Rough but then she's good!
She accelerates now without stalling !!

But now she's running ok after I lifted her and leveled her..
But I did already order the rebuild kit.. so idk lol
I'm probably going to sell it like this and let them deal with the carb rebuild , lll be nice and give them the kit to lol

Never assume a boat(or any engine for that matter) is performing as it should until you put a load on it.

But if you're selling it...

As of now I have absolutely no interest in helping on this post. Leaving it a mess for a buyer is not what I consider a useful goal. Bye.
