What? It's running ok now Rick? What should I do if it's running good now I don't get it?

I've changed plugs, cap , rotor , wires were tested and there good, I sucked all the old gas and put 6 gallons new gas.. I checked compression and good , I checked fuel lines and filter all good.. I checked all connections .. good
and now she's running good
The new owner should be grateful I did all that, that stuff should of been done by him , all regulAr maintenance stuff..

not yet but will do soon.. I bet the whole time it's the damn incline and engine not being balanced lol

Idling in the driveway is a whole lot different than running under load.

Im just paranoid that I might of damaged something reving it that high on muffs , my rpm gauge don't work so it was loud.. throttle almost 80% down.. this was last week but it's like haunting me now lol it was only for 10-15 seconds.. engine temps never went over 175 idk I'm just paranoid thinking I messed up something . I did do the hose check and no water came out , meaning impeller is good.. but impeller is least ofy worries.. im just worried at that high rpm could I have damaged the rear unit or the engine ? At 4-5k rpm ?

Seriously? You never said that before! 80% down!!!!!! I am surprised you didn't exceed the red line of the engine. I am actually surprised you didn't blow your engine right there!

I did mention it earlier lol .. I thought by giving it more gas I'll clear up the carb lol well it was only for 10 seconds.. maybe I'm exaggerating and maybe it was just 2-3k .. I did see what mist all over with light white smoke no smell though .. but after that I did the propeller test and it was good.. and she sounds the same and runs ok now.. hopefully i didn't do any damage

Lol! Yeah...It's funny when I hear that as well. Akin to "blowing the carbon out".

Many here aren't old enough to remember the need to "de coke" cylinder heads and now days with unleaded gasoline things run so clean that there's relatively little carbon deposit inside one to "blow" out.

I have heard of people doing more damage to engines while pouring chemicals down vacuum lines in an attempt to do so though!lol!

Sea Foam and the rest of the snake oil crowd has made a LOT of money by convincing people to do so though...
