It is, but what would you call someone from Las Vegas, other than broke, divorced, an idiot or a sun dried human ... in humor of course, most of the people here are very nice and simply good people.

Florida = Floridian
Virginia = Virginian
New York = New Yorker...

(my bad those are states and I'm looking for a term for a person from a city...:redface:, maybe there isn't one...)

There are certainly city-specific terms, but they tend to be pretty bizarre and arbitrary.
From Glasgow = Glaswegian
From Halifax = Haligonian
etc.

In my experience cities by their nature tend to be somewhat bizzare, maybe it just rubs off on the residents

On another board I visit a forum was created called
Politics, Related News, and Hot Topics.

Train wrecks are pretty much the norm. If it offends you, don't go to the forum. Seems to work pretty well.

At least none that are as important as IBOATS
If I can't actually be BOATING......I can Talk about BOATING, BOATS, and BOATING related stuff with other BOATERS who would also rather be BOATING. Who has time for these other ALLEGED boards?

Half or better of my posts have been an effort to help someone. I could just stay away if you wish.

On second thought, this seems to be where the help is needed.

I think I read most of them and did not see these topics-

1 - Best way to measure speed on a boat (GPS etc)
2 - 1 axle, 2 axle, 3 axle trailers
3 - Tinting windows
4 - Greasing hubs (bearings buddies etc)
5 - Passing someone on plain or slowing down
6 - Prop, Prop and more Prop
7 - Hybrid vs Gas vs Diesel vs Propane vs anything combustible
8 - HP vs Torque
9 - Any device that can help stabilize or plain a boat

Oh yeah and people who don?t read all the other posts and then repeat the same things....oh crap I hope I didn?t miss one.

I have a question for the mods (I know your watching/waiting for this thread to go south...LOL)! How many threads a day get zapped?? Every really bad train wreck thread I have found lasts an hour or two and then gets deleted. There must be 10-20 train wreck threads I miss for every 1 that I stumble upon.
