Loyalty? what's that? I am from the SF bay area, The 49ers, The Raiders, nba, The Warriors, The Sac. Kings, Hocky, The San Jose Sharks...Oh, did I mention MLB, The Giants, The A's .All of them,
They Suck! Talk to management, when there's a good team there's no Loyalty shown by Management to keep the teams together. They say it's a business......well, maybe they should call me before the decisions to trade or not re-sign a player who has brought them to a winning season. I don't know, maybe I can help..........Loyalty...

I must admit i love a good train wreck of a thread!! It's like driving by an accident on the road. You just have to look I have had to bite my tongue on more than a few threads to abide by the code of conduct, but there's always someone who doesn't. I know the mods hate these train wrecks, but I love em.

Bro, you haven't been here long enough to know real controversial topics. They used to allow political discussions here and that was the good 'ol iboats. What you have now is a very watered down version.

It's starting to get fun, in a clean sort of way.

Unfortunately, Vegas will never have a good set of professional teams. The city is not really big enough to support the programs anyhow. But we do have some great fans who would love to have a team. It's the "other" side of Vegas, you know, the non-gambling locals. We do have our boats and Lake Mead to enjoy.

I think most would agree, that any body of clean water big enough to boat on cannot be described as "suxs".

I know some of my local Vegans (if that is the correct term?) would not agree that we are simply not big enough to adequately support a pro sports team. Yes, some of these people have never seen a real city before.

And, for those with under performing teams, support them anyway. It's not winning or losing that counts, it is the opportunity or excuse to get together with family and friends and have some fun (and a few drinks).

And finally, a HOKIE is someone from Virginia Tech. I'm a Hokie. Sometimes simply referred to as "hokie". A HOAGIE is a sandwich that originated in Philadelphia during World War II. There are other possible origins, some of which do involve "Hokie's" or "Hokey's". But, the world should now all understand that a "HOKIE" is a person from that great institution of higher learning, VIRGINIA TECH. GO HOKIES!

It is, but what would you call someone from Las Vegas, other than broke, divorced, an idiot or a sun dried human ... in humor of course, most of the people here are very nice and simply good people.

Florida = Floridian
Virginia = Virginian
New York = New Yorker...

(my bad those are states and I'm looking for a term for a person from a city...:redface:, maybe there isn't one...)
