Someone got tired of the pop ups and decided to hack the site! :)

There are adverts here?

I haven't seen any, popup or otherwise... Browser = Chrome, with an extension called AdBlock. I guess it's working! :)

The hacker apparently doesn't use it and got upset.

Can the data they got when I had to identify my computer with the "security" type in just to open the site be retrieved? They really shouldnt need it so I want it back to keep my computer safe. The data went someplace or they wouldnt have required it.. So WHERE did it go? I really need it back.I think I have been scammed

There was no data retrieved. That was a little speedbump to slow down evil doers. Nothing bad for friends.

This I believe. I hate those pop up adds.

Download Mozilla Firefox and access this site from it and you won't get the pop ups. I use Mozilla exclusively for this site only. I haven't had a pop up in months

A lot of sites use this means to keep computer generated means from automatically opening the sites

Re: Looks like the hiccup has been fixed

It looks like it was a bot attack from the security code needed to enter the site and the new security question answer needed to post a reply.

That security question is required of all new posters for the first 3 or 5 posts, not sure which. Been like that for months with the last big run of spammers. Keeps those bots from posting their spam in the first few posts. Takes a human to answer, bots can't do it.
The questions will stop for you soon, if not already.
