Re: mission accomplished, wonder how many innocents died today
haha....90%(guestimate) of the people who've posted in this topic have had the exact mentality over the last 3 years that Rodbolt is mocking, only not quite as dramatic. I can't remember how many times I've been called a traitor or terrorist for being against this unlawful, unnecessary, and costly war. Get it through your heads....Iraq was NOT a threat to us. Powell and Rice both said that 7 months before 9/11.

I bet many people here are all for going after Iran, even though there has been absolutely no proof, zip zero none nada, that Iran is trying to build a Nuke. Just like Iraq had, or still has if you ask the right people, Weapons of Mass Destruction. And I don't buy that 'everyone else thought he had them too". That may be true, but not everyone was willing to invade, ala the "Coalition of the Willing". What a joke.

"Of course the people don't want war. But after all, it's the leaders of the country who determine the policy, and it's always a simple matter to drag the people along whether it's a democracy, a fascist dictatorship, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism, and exposing the country to greater danger."

Face it, you fell for it.
