Re: Need more chatter in here people!

Hey there guys any news? I have little to add. I am looking for a supplier of marine plywood but all I can find is one in the US that priced ok at $65 -4'x8'x3/4" plus shipping and here it is $178  I need 2 sheets and its off to the races for me, that is if it ever stops raining.

BTW any of you guys know where I can get a dealer srvice manual for my boat at?

The waitings now over! Got all the boats in the water up at the good ol PPYC yesterday, tied up beside my brothers Wellcraft before the rain hit! :)

Must be a great feeling to have her back in the water.
Must admit to a cold shiver down my spine while looking at the photos though:facepalm:

How did the weekend work out?
We have had some of the best weekends in a while... And I've been away:eek:
Now watch the weather turn on me:(

That should be an easy one. Come on Cavalier owners where are you ???
Do you have to get a government approved one ???

Hey Martin
I'm not sure how to get one, but I'll take a pic of mine when I'm up there on the weekend for ya
In the meantime, heres a pic of the family fleet at the PPYC, cousin Joes '87 Vanguard Riviera (Sandy B), the Cavalier (Midnite II) and my brothers '80 Wellcraft Suncruiser (Intrepid) and not to be forgotten, the 12' Springbok (the Blue Bastard) :D

Re: Need more chatter in here people!

JBF, great pics of the launch. I wish my marina had those capabilities. I need the boat on blocks to do the bottom anti-fouling. I think there should be enough still on the bottom to get me to July. Regardless, the boat is in the water and I have been removing the pinstripping, buffing and polishing. Great way to burn calories!

I have heard great things about Doral and the Cavalier model! It is good to hear.

Re: Need more chatter in here people!

No rain on Saturday:D
But after a couple of weeks away my starboard raw water intake is blocked again:(
2 more weeks for the new drives...
The intake on the composites is one small hole that seems to be the barnies favourite spot to roost.

Re: Need more chatter in here people!

Got a chance to get a little more work done on the boat today and maybe a some more on Friday. It is starting to look like I am making some headway. Got all the rotten stuff out and cleaneded up a little. And got all the pieces cut out, just have to fit them in then and find a way to glass them in as I am alergic to the dam stuff. Might see a space man walking around here but no worries it's just me trying to glass my flooring up:D Ben great weather out there too bad I am not out there fishing to enjoy it
