You don't have electricity? SUV? 4WD? You ride a bike to work? Your employer (and thus your job) doesn't depend on any transportation or shipping or machinery or electricity? What do you think your life would be like if there were no diesel burning snow plows running all over, 24/7? You haven't noticed that the Chinese are outpacing our economy 3:1? Did you notice they were in Africa last week securing their oil futures? You haven't seen all the old farms for sale all over upstate NY?? God help us...

haven't been attacked since 9-11..several bad guys here in the US arrested for attempting too bomb some places in america.....unemployment is at an all time low....taxes are reduced...the deficit is going down (gotta pay for the war somehow...ww2 wasn't cheap either)......more jobs are being created.....and yet under the clinton administration we were attacked several times....taxes were hi..unemployment was on the rise....jobs were dropping off like crazy...illegal immigration was not talked about even though it was rampant....hillary was the first lady trying too enact her own health care program that was alot like the canadian's social program...and she wasn't even elected!!!..she was thrown out of the presidential security breifs cuz she thought SHE ran them!!...(someone forgot too tell the Joint Chiefs the first lady runs those meetings) and I could go on and on about the billary!!!.....sorry if people disagree but hey...I saw how she and her idiot husband disgraced the white house...how they mocked the United States and her and her husband absolutely hated the US Military....they loathed them...said on several occasions they would abolish the military if they could....

hey..atleast President Bush has honored the military...attempted to fund the military fully....reduced taxes etc....addressed the illegal immigration problems....none of the dem's have even wanted to talk about those problems....

imho...hillary would be bad ...really bad for america....

Skinnywater, the bottom line for me is I completely dislike the direction W has taken this country. I am tired of hearing misleading stats such as a reduction in unemployment. Problem with that stat, the decrease in unemployment is due, in part, to retail such as Wal-Mart constantly opening new stores. You remember, that big retail store so many of you despise. Out with the well paying jobs, in with retail. In one of his addresses, he then mentioned wage increases. You know, the same minimum wage increase he has been against. It did not take long for him to jump on the bandwagon, once democrats took office, did it? Even with the minimum wage increase, per capita income has gone down since W has taken office. That is the important stat none of you talk about. He77, Cambodia has great unemployment rates too. A 2.5% unemployment rate for all ages above 15. Per capita income should not matter either, because so many of you ignore it here.

So many of you scream about Wal-Mart then you turn around and credit W for reduced unemployment rates. A tad hypocritical, if you ask me.

Then, go ahead and throw in the Iraq war. 4 years and Baghdad is still not secure.

So, do I know democrats will do better....no I don't, but I have trouble believing they will do worse. I, unlike so many of you, are not hoping for it either. Like I gave W for a couple of years, the democrats too, will get the benefit of any doubt until they no longer deserve it.

I still find it very interesting so many of you republicans scream support your Prez, but you only say it, you don't practice it by supporting any other than those on your side of the fence. Again, a bit hypocritical.
