I like SD but was never really a fan. Canned pop band. Good sound, mediocre musicians.

OMG, mediocre musicians? Jeff Baxter, Larry Carlton . . . dude you need to revisit the Dan. One of my favorite things about the band is the showcasing of great guitarists . . . Try Guacho . . . More obscure and some beautiful guitar.

Well I don't know about that but I will agree that their current song "Break" kicks large amounts of a__. They are a band that is definitely maturing and improving.

For JB,
They have pictures of Stan Kenton holding me as a baby while conducting his orchestra. Dad was a friend of his.

When you say your dad is a professional musician, I think you are understating it a bit!!!

Ok I will have to put this one to rest the best band ever is RUSH!!!!!!! These guys put on a great live show.....and they will keep going untill their dead!!!!!! And there song and albums will live foreever!!

Everyone loves RUSh and they usally dont know it..they hear a song and say I love this song!

OK, I gave my notice at work so I'm kind of a lame duck here in my last couple weeks, so I tallied up all the mentions (hey, I work with spreadsheets & databases a lot, it was practice )

Oops! You are absolutely correct. I did have them listed twice in the list I made, then I left them out by mistake when I typed up the post. And I like Rush too (they're no Zeppelin, but still a great band )
