After 5 helicopters have been shot down in the last few weeks in Iraq, with almost 50 Americans killed aboard, I'd think there are more important aircraft to worry about.

And these people think they deserve to regain power?

You're kidding, right?

Gee PW, you are right! There were far more cars demolished and Americans killed right here in this country during that same time frame. We should be more concerned about the American automobile!

Pelosi was told…got it, “told!” she had to fly on a gov’t plane for security reasons. She has always taken public flights and argued to continue doing so, even as Speaker of the House. Got it? Pelosi did NOT want to use a gov’t plane to travel to/from California. Personally, I suspect she is racking up air miles on the public’s dime.

It was the Bush admin…got it, G.W., not the Democrats (aka communists, same thing) that told Pelosi's staff and argued for her to use one of 3 Air Force One planes. Exactly which one of the three planes depends on availability. A plane is NOT assigned to Pelosi. Pelosi does NOT pick the plane. The AF does NOT pick the plane. The Democrats (aka communists, same thing) do NOT pick the plane. It is a matter of which of the AF One planes is available and when/where it is at the time it is needed. And I would guess that which task is assigned to which plane at any given time is probably labeled “secret” , so Pelosi probably doesn’t even know which plane she is assigned until she arrives at the airport.

The concern is that her security detail be able to evacuate her to a safe location ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD, not just within the US, if necessary. My guess is if it became necessary she would be taken out over the Pacific until a destination was decided, S America, Asia, who knows? She is at the top for ascension to the throne if that ever become necessary. She would be the closest thing to having a president elected by the people, if events dictate it. By contrast, Gerald Ford was the furthest thing from a president elected by the people.

After AF One drops Pelosi in California, it does NOT necessarily sit there and wait for her. It is off to another task, as needed. Example: it may be sent up to Oregon to pick up a plane load of rich Democrats (aka communists, same thing) that have paid $10,000.00 each to the RNC for an opportunity to sleep in the Lincoln bedroom. That kind of thing ...

America condemns the new Speaker of the House of Representatives, Nancy Pelosi, Democrat from San Francisco, for trying to get luxurious travel paid for by the American taxpayers. Is a first class seat on a commercial jet no longer good enough for Speaker Pelosi? Nancy Pelosi is demanding that the Air Force provide her with a large jet on demand - "Pelosi One" - so she can transport her political cronies, favorite Members of Congress, congressional staffers, friends and relatives back and forth to her district in San Francisco every week.

“It is time for Speaker Pelosi to fulfill her campaign promises to the American people and stop the abuse of power in Congress. She said during the campaign that American tax dollars needed to be spent wisely. There is no reason why Speaker Pelosi and her favorite Members of Congress can't take a smaller Air Force plane which makes one stop on her way back to San Francisco, just like most other Americans when they travel.”

However, Speaker Nancy Pelosi is insisting on an Air Force C-32 jumbo jet. It will cost the American taxpayers an astounding $15,000 an hour (and up to 15 Air Force staffers) to service Nancy Pelosi and her political cronies and favorite Members of Congress. The Air Force C-32 plane has 42 leather business-class seats, a fully-enclosed state room for Nancy Pelosi; stewards who serve meals and tend an open bar, and other such luxuries on board. It is time for Speaker Nancy Pelosi to bring such abuse of power to a halt now.

Funny how we didn’t hear a damn thing from the Republicans when House Spkr Dennis Hastert was flying around an AF One. And no, he didn’t pick which one of the AF One planes he flew on, either. Again, it was whatever plane was available to him, depending on the planes’ availability.

There are far, far greater issues for Pelosi and the Democrats (aka communists, same thing) to score points with over the next two years than getting tangled up in which plane is flying coast to coast. The stakes are way, way to high in 2008. Pelosi is the FIRST female in line to be president if events dictate. She is buffering America; an incremental step to getting everyone comfortable with the idea that a woman would be ok at the highest levels of authority, i.e. in the White House. Do you need to be told who that White House aspiring woman is?!? Anyone that thinks Pelosi is going to risk the Democrats’ (aka communists, same thing) political points on something as trivial as her travel arrangements has their thinking unit firmly embedded in their rectal unit.
