Too cool , man wish i could afford a paint shop !! lol This is the worst part of the hole thing !! With the top side don't have to prime her , top side just doesn't stick to glass, so just marine TeX the bare spots !!

We will see this week, I am hoping to get her all sanded !! HOPING !!!! lol then the week after next I will get her taped off , and start with the white !! plus then I also am hoping that its a little warmer out side !!

Thanks anyway on the tip !! alway look for some good advice !!!

HI All

Well me and a buddie, Jeff, were out there for about 5 hours today and I would say ,,,,,,,,,, Umm About 3/4 of the top is Done !!!!!! I won't have to touch them again !! On the transom I am going to have to sand next week ,and tex it tomorrow for the last time , but tomorrow with me and jeff on there, thats all i should have to sand next week !!! and that shouldnt take more the a couple hours and then clean the hull, so i can start taping her off !!!AND THEN PAINT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ohh yea Steve, It will be here next wed they send there order on monday and get it wed !! 41 bucks !! Tax

It was cool they had it in there when i was out running around today and i just stopped in there !!!

Ok Guys and Gals , I will get some pics up tomorrow after were done, Man that dash turned out sweet !! John

Been meaning to get over here and tell you that you're boat's lookin good!
I had a 1975 Glastron 15 1/2' tri hull with a 1975' Johnson 70 hp. Man that thing would fly!! And it handle like a corvette That was a fun boat! I wish I still had it. Keep up the good work and kudo's for all yer post's to everyone elses questions and concerns. It takes a lot of time to do that.

Thanks, when I edit this thread for the completed projects forum , I will have a few more thing that I would have done a little different, But i am really pleased with the way she has turned out !!

Wife just told me I have a Dentist appt, tomorrow, at 2 hope he dont mind me a little dusty !! LOL So I should be back here by 3 Steve !! John

Well

Today kind of stunk !! only got 3 hours out there !! Thought we were going to do the boys brithday friday, But were going out tonight so , with the dentist and just getting back from that , so I know after dinner I'm not going to want to get back out there !!

Now what I did hit , The top is about 80 to 90 % Done !!! I went over a bunch of spots that we hit yesterday !!and a bunch more !! So I got to get out there tonight or tomorrow before i go to work and get the marine tex on the transom and there is two other spots that I ground out to much and one spot that I just missed , Man she is really getting close to paint time !!

It was allmost all hand sanding and useing the long board today. The palm sander came in handy also, trying to keep it Flat as possible!! The last thing i would hit a area with is the long board !! She is going to be smooth !!!!!!!!!!!

I am still hoping here next week that I can get done with the sanding on my frist day off !! I not going to rush it thoe , with all this work I dont want to get in to big of a hurry !!! I want it petty close to perfect!! and I am getting it there !!

Hey John, you getting the nice weather we are getting this weekend? 50's Saturday and Sunday and they are talking 60+ for Monday ( though that comes with the chance of rain )!

If I wasn't involved with helping a friend replace an intake manifold gasket on his Explorer this weekend, I think I'd be out on my boat getting something done.

I'm gonna go crawl in it at the very least just to let it know that I'm still thinking about it

Making great progress, and it doesn't look like you cutting any corners. BTW, if your wife lets you keep a boat in the garage and work on it all the time, she is a keeper and needs some special compensation every now and again. Believe me, they really appreciate it!
