Ok Guys !!

Well it didnt level , I guess you would say !! went with the roller and tip, method , and the roller was leaving a heck of a lot better finish, the brush was leaving brush marks !!! No its not bad just a lot of little high spots , hit it with some 1200 grit by hand and some 800 grit with the nematic, didn't like the nematic with that so went straight to the 2000 grit with it. and it is glassie smooth !!!!! she is going to be just like glass , I can tell already , I really wanted to hit it with another coat when I got home but it was getting ready to rain and the humidity is up and now there talking rain all the way till thursday now !!!#@$$#%%%^^%$%^%$$### dont it just figure !!!! Ok heres some pics , if your looking at it at a distance she looks really good !!

This last one , look at the reflection of the dog in her , and i didn't even sand here yet !!!!!! she is going to look great !! John

looking good... if the brush is leaving too many high marks.. try roll and roll.. instead of roll and brush as your roll and tip method..

Thanks Guys !!! Thats kind of what i was thinking there 92excel, couple more coats and she will be great !!!

Thanks there ezmobee, yea it is , but there are still spot that I see !!! I really think regelcoating her would have been easier !!!! lol you got to really look to see them , but I am over all pleased !!!!!!

I was out there sanding and got up to the bow on the bottom , there is that 1 foot strip just below where the top meets , well That was the first place I hit when i was painting . When I mixed the paint with the mineral spirits right in the rolling pan, [ I forgot ] well in that strip across the front really turned out smooth , well I was thinking I did put the paint mixer on the drill and mixed it in the paint , well I am thinking that I had more mineral spirits in that spot so when I paint again I am going to mix it just a little heavier, it calls for 5% I am going to make sure I add all of that !!!! Does all that make sense ?? LOL

Ok guys more sanding what Fun !!!! LOL JOhn

noo. lets see. thurdsay i was finishing all the stuff on the larson.. friday took it out for the day . saturday picked up furniture at uconn brought it all the way to Harwich Cape cod, spent some time there then spent the night and part of sunday in Lincoln, Mass.. found a little go kart that we tried to get running.. today was a luandry day and catching up on i boats. and misc things.. .. weathers been great.. had the windows down the the whole trip.. truck beasted that trip tho 500 pluss miles in three days.. no problems at all.. so this week is glassing the stringer.. than deck goes in :)

We had crappy cold misty weather here today...'bout 48 for the high. All I got done was getting my eyes checked and getting that seat belt on the Explorer fixed. I was going to fix some other stuff, but they dilated my eyes so I spent a good portion of my afternoon trying to stay out of direct light :(. I didn't get to the junkyard until 5:30PM. A partially wasted weekend...I hope next weekend is more productive.

Yea it looked like you just missed the snow today up there , my father inlaw is getting 3 to 6 today !!!!! he can keep it !!!!

OOOHHHH YEA I forgot to tell you guys , I got another 1/2 gal of hardener for the gal of epoxy I got left !!! And also got 5 more yards of 10.5 oz e-glass to finish the batteries boards down in the corners buy the transom !!! Thanks Steve , he just had US Composities add it on to his order !!! He hasnt got any thing done this last week , he's been busy !!! seen him sat !!!! ok so add 61.00 to my total !!!!!!!!! Thanks again Steve !!!!!!! John
