lol! im taking my time in a organized jump around. I should be getting my starter solenoid from ups monday. I got everything put back together and when i get that part I'll get the video going. Thanks for checking back. BTW iM using the chrysler manual for that year. It has 260 pages of great detail. I like learning all about motors.

Good Pics! I feel you have good plans as to what you are doing. Multitasking is a killer for me vs completing one task with results before moving to another. I?ll be watching vs jumping in as much and will try to help with any question directed to me. Take Care And ?The Best Of Luck With That Monster?! jow

I would say you need to pull the carb and rebuild it....There is dirt in the idle circuit passages.... get a kit it takes about an hour to do ;)

You can buy one here on iBoats for around $13 + shipping, but you need the model number off the motor to make sure which one (there are a few to choose from). However, first remove the carb, remove the air screw top front of carb, remove the bowl, remove the needle, take WD40 with the red straw and spray the bejeesus out of all the little orifices/holes until your satified. Reinstall and test before you buy a new kit. Carbs usually just need a THOROUGH cleaning.
In the ternal words of Frank A. " carbs are like womens breasts, they stick out in front and guys can't keep from messing with them" ;)
