The end is in sight! have to tighten the seat cushion on the left side, and do some fine-tuning of the joint pocket to get rid of as much of the gap as I can, but by golly for the first time in a long time, I feel like things are finally coming together.....the level of frustration this job has set me on with the lack of space to work has been beyond huge....anyhow heres the wraparound

thanks it really is comfy, and since I put the same angle on the armrests as I did the back, it is also comfortable lounging on it sideways...As far as clashing with the decor, I told her look at the bright side, at least there is somewhere to sit! I have the 2 small ones to put the slip cover on, and pull tight, but I will be done thursday and have him pick them up this weekend!

probably not the best job for a first time doing this, it was a learning experience and boy did I learn! I still love this though and feel this is the perfevt fit for me, jut looking forward to have a work space that is adequate

Finished with the wrap-around...there are a few minor things I wish I had done better but, I have to remember that not everything can be perfect all the time

fixed the gap in the pocket joint

hinges on

I made the immobile cushion longer so that both seats can be open at the same time

Hey, is now a good time to ask if we can change this up a touch & go w/ blue & white vinyl on fold-out chaise lounge chairs???:facepalm:

Sorry, I couldn't help myself.... I'd also like to revisit the sewing & all things boats seminars we talked about for mid-late August.....

Rookie effort my backside..... All that looks great, well laid out & good thinking ahead @ having both bench seats raised at the same time... Good stuff Maynard, good stuff!


So we already have a list:
Duck~water
WOG~all around helpful info & etc etc etc (splash challenged, but still plugging away)
oops~hull stretching madman, an all around generally nice & helpful fella & frosty adult libation connoisseur

And just added to the list:
Judge~upholstery & sewing vinyl

Yep, already writing my: "I remember when Judge got his first sewing machine & laid down his initial stitches" speech.........:facepalm:

The smaller 2 were the hardest to pull tight, because there are arm rests on both sides, the inside dimensions were very unforgiving...on future jobs I will have the ends separate to solve this issue

and talk about a plan coming together...if I had this measurement off it sure wouldn't have fit
