Putting a boat in a slip

I have a 1987 Rinker V180 with a 3.0 4cyl I\O in it. I am looking at putting it in a slip this year what should I check or replace befor I put it in the slip.

Check all the Bellows or replace if it has been awhile, if they leak boat sinks, bildge pump, if it works add another, if not replace it and add another, make sure the battery is good so it can run the pumps for awhile, I think I would put a high water alarm in just in case the pumps don't keep up, may save the boat someday, check the hull/gelcoat for cracks that could leak and soak any wood that is in the hull, make sure boat cover is in good shape as it helps keep rainwater out also protects the upholstery from the sun. There may be more but that is all I can think of right now.

bildge pump, if it works add another, if not replace it and add another

Must have float switch!!!! Actually for both. Not all do. Mega ditto on the battery condition

And you may wish to put a battery charger that will do a maintenance charge and keep your battery up to snuff providing you have power at the slip.
Batteries that are attended may lose their charge and without that your pumps and alarms don't mean much.
This less than $50 (discounted~got mine at Amazon) device may save your boat too and keep it ready to start in addition.

What about the plug. Right now I use a twist style. There are no threads to put the other type in??

Personally I don't stress about the plug. It's not going to jump out of there if it's reasonably tight regardless of the style . . .

Might want to consider painting the bottom or at least pulling it out weekly to clean off algae and other contaminants.

I wouldn't "consider" painting the bottom... that really isn't an option. If the boat is going to be in water, fresh or salt, bottom paint is a must have.

Mooring/cockpit cover. Keeping weather out of the boat pays dividends, too. You still need a bilge pump with float switch, but it won't need to work much if rain is kept out in the first place. It'll keep all that upholstery, clean, dry and out of the sun when not in use.

Double braided nylon dock lines and some quality fenders.

Having her at the dock make for less work and more play.
