I am replacing the ign. parts on the plate on an RDE-17. I was supplied with a new oiling felt for the cam---- but it looks
like the holder has a tiny hole that there might have been a tiny metal screw to retain the felt in the bracket...... Can someone confirm the use of a screw there ???? and what size ? looks like it could be a #3 or #2 (tiny)
Also - incidentally--- does it make any difference which spark plug is driven by which one of the Ign. sides ?
I cant think of any reason why it would since there are only 2 cylinders-- and no "firing order" ......
Just getting back to my boats and motors ! Been doing other projects for a while......
Thanks--- Tim
(I would like to get two of these built up and run twins on the orlando clipper)
