Here is my baby I bought last year- '97 Sanger Barefooter outboard. Pristine condition and 1 owner (before me). This is my dream boat and I hope to have her for many many years of skiing and boating enjoyment! <br /><br />

<br /><br />I use it primarily for barefoot waterskiing, but my family loves to go out for a cruise as well.

I stared with disbelief at the pic of your boat. My nephews have the exact hull as yours only blue. They run an 80 Mercury on it. Only the second one like it I've ever seen.

These "Halfcab" hulls were very common in Melbourne Australia in the 70's and 80's The Unicorn was made locally and was later produced by Mustang. There are still plenty OR halfcabs around here, but would be very rare in the USA.

I better not try to compare! My boat is a bit of a POS! More on line with AmigaDragon's Glastron (no offense). I have a 73' (I think) 17 ft. fiberglass Starcraft with a paint-chipped 75hp Johnson. She's like the girls you used to wake up next to the morning after a wild party...fun but ugly!!<br /><br />I'm about to do some work on her, I'll take a pic now, and keep posting as time goes by. <br /><br />By the way, is it even possible to make those old boat pretty? Honestly.
