Hey, I may be new here, but that dude that calls himself "12Footer" really has a chip on his shoulder, and ought to be banned from the forum!<br />That poor Plywoody guy allways seems to receive the brunt of his wrath. What's up with that guy?

The brunt of his wrath? I did not notice. You'll have to point it out next time.<br /><br />And yes, plywood prices have been good lately. If you take the increase in plywood prices and spread it over the cost of a new home, the result is pretty insignificant--and yet poor plywood workers and mill owners can finally make a buck, rather than perenially spinning their wheels.<br /><br />Who knows where the prices will go, however. Commodities are a tough business to make a living in, as soon as a person can make a living in it, bunches of people get in with more production to take advantage of the situation, and drive prices down. It is, indeed, the American Way.

Don't know about the prices of plywood, but have notice a big increase in sell of it around here.<br /><br />I see truck load after truck loads of it coming into the local Lowe's and 84 lumber stores here.

I saw truck loads of it parked in my driveway! Glad I purchased most of it before it jumped to $23 a sheet!
