At some point post some pics of your ladder as I'll be needing to pick one up too. Just wondering on the best way to mount it with some backing, etc.
Ahh. I may end up doing the same to avoid holes in the transom.
Bummer on your trip Andy, but I'm right there with you money-wise, been living week to week lately{almost a year now} sure changes one's perspective on things.
Nice score's, I'm looking for a tach myself, though in black face...super prices too!
get in touch with this guy, see if he has any more. he bought a ton of stuff from a marina that went under...

well i am officially done with firewood 100%. this afternoon i plan to replace the impeller and pull off the carbs and adjust the floats and replace my wheel bearings. then ill be water ready, hoping to get out this friday when i get home from work if the weather holds up... forecast says 77 and sunny. the water will probably be too cold for swimming but the kids will probably want to try out the new tube.
i would like a nice mounted swim platform, but they are pretty pricey and we are boating on a budget, so things like that get put on the back burner.
Keep an eye out on ebay, I have seen some good deals from time to time.
Nice score on the tach, did that guy tell you which ones were compatible with your 50hp? I may see if he will ship to Michigan.![]()
good luck.... you have a much better chance than i have getting in the water![]()
i heard you were having problems... what happened?
Awesome news Andy! Your rig is going to fly with that 85hp.
Boatguy just splashed his 16' SS with an 85hp Johnson and he hit 46mph and he said it wasn't even wide open.
I am hoping to see 40 once I get my carbs squared away.
Good luck with the OB, hope she's ready to go soon![]()
Mine wasn't set up right at all. I wasn't hitting anywhere near my recommended WOT RPMs and the boat felt like it was plowing a smidge.
