Andy,
thanks for asking, boat is doing just fine, its me that can barely get around
I have only had her out twice :(
try putting a picture of your truck in MS paint, like you did with the boat and play with a design.
I think that would be cool,my truck is maroon and my trailer is white and the boat is blue, they don't match but they are not together that much

Andy looks like you and the Family had fun today I gotta ask are you basing your speed off the speedo or a GPS . I would say try another notch on the tilt until you loose speed before popping for a prop :D.

Great job Andy ...... you guy's finishing up is making it hard on us that are way behind........... scares me to think what I will find out about the 76 115 Thunderbolt Tower of Power on my boat, haven't even tried to mess with it yet I was just thinking I could find a newer Jonnyrude in the 150 range. Again andy great job and the video was fun to watch the boat looks great.

Andy congratulations on the successful splash:D thanks for posting the videos- that should be the new standard for splashes...that boat looks awesome and the motor really moves her.

Is that a flush mount pole holder on the gunwales or is that for a bimini top?

ya they are flush mount rod holders... i ws going to take them off, but they are steel bolts and nuts, and are rusted on tight so they are staying!

ya the idle is a little high... gotta do some adjusting and fine tuning yet, but im not the most mechanicly inclined person on the earth... so its going to be little by little.

You and I are alike there. I know everything about the boat but I don't know sh!t about the motor! Mine probably needs a carb rebuild to correct its rough idling but I just can't bring myself to attempt that. I have visions of springs and screws flying everywhere and having parts leftover. Heck I had my trailer bearings repacked at a trailer shop. I know many on here wouldn't dream of paying someone to do something as mundane as that but to me it was the best $60 I've spent.

Re: Starcraft project: "STOLEN" PIC UPDATE 7-31-09 COMPLETED!!

well, i just exchanged a few emails with the guy i traded motors with... he said the only problem with it not shifting was the switch in the controls. he said it goes pretty good on his boat. i guess it was win win for everyone... i got rid of that crappy hydro electric shift, he got a motor with power tilt!oh and he says that its actually a 60hp, and that the motor mount bracket had been changed thats why it came back as a 69 55hp.
