Re: starcraft ss22! restoration customization Minnesota great lakes! MN scuba diving
I've had my '76 22' SS OB for a year now and I am extremely happy with it . I had considered converting it to an I/O because I already have a complete 120 mercruiser from a glasser I have that is no longer seaworthy but I have decided to stick with the O\B, it handles great , has plenty of get up and go, I have had the boat up to 40mph according to my GPS with a '71 115hp merc, no tilt\trim, fuel economy is better than I had with a 14' glasser with a 60hp 'rude. I'm only running the smaller lakes here in Ontario but I think a full transom with O\B bracket would be a great set up for rougher waters
