Hey ya'll,
Just wondering whats your favorite tasty beverage. Mine is Becks, although I was at Walmart tonight and noticed they had Spaten, an old standby for me back in the 90's. I snapped it up quick, and am now kicking back with a spaten in one hand and a handful of peperoni in the other!
All tasty beverages are allowed, (as long as they contain alcohol), I just happen to prefer BEER!!!

Re: The Beer thread!!!

Becks, Heineken and Groelsch are all high on my list of beers, but lately I have been enjoying Shiner Bock. Great taste without the snob appeal or premium price.

Like a glass of wine with meals. What wine depends on what I am eating.

What really hits in the wallet is Scotch. Very little of the very best is the ticket there. My son and I give each other premium Scotch for special days. I get Chivas Royal Salute (21 years old) or MacAllans Single Malt 25. He gets Macallans 25.

A black and tan is always appreciated. Harp and Guinese. This goes to prove you don't need to spell it to order it! ;)

Pathetic American beer drinker here. If it ain't Miller Lite, chances are I wont drink it. I have been known to buy/bring my own to functions where beer is being supplied (free) if I know ML wont be available.

Re: The Beer thread!!!

My house beer for every day drinking is Miller Lite. I like "good beer" too but can usually drink only 2 or so before I feel full. Of the good beers I like to have on occasion are: Bass, Guiness, a few flavors of Sam Adams, and various other micro brews. I tend to stay away from most IPA's as they are too hoppy for my taste but I do like a Sierra Nevada once in a while because of its distinct flavor. If you drink those you know exactly what I mean. It's been a while, but I also brew my own. My favorite is porter. It's nice and dark but finishes very clean. I've been known to swill a few Coronas, XX, and Negro Modelos with my Tequila too. :) Whenever I get a chance to eat at a brew house, I always get a cream stout if they have one available.

Molson XXX, Yuengling Lager, Killian's Red and strong Captain&Coke or Irish Coffee. "Course, for the most part if you put it in front of me, I'll drink it. I also like a good single malt scotch.

Beer: Corona Extra - gotta do the lime thing with it

Mixed: Captain Mo in ginger ale w/slice of lime over crushed ice (the bigger the cup, the better)

Just tried Capt Mo Parrot Bay pineapple in lemon lime soda (little variety never hurts) - a bit sweet, but very refreshing - again over crushed ice

Dang, now I'm thirsty :D

Gay . . . (love the "no fruit in beer" man rule vote commercial)

. . . gayest.

Sorry Stevie, and you are usually so dependable . . . No Gay Basher bashing necessary, I know I am a pig . . . and besides I picked it up from the 10 year olds around here

I am with JB on the Shiner Bock, can't get it here though. I like authentic English bitters and Guinness, Boddington's with the widget here in US, but most any Bitter, cellar chilled and properly pulled is the best. Coors Light for outdoors in the sun . . .

Budweiser smells like any beer spilled on carpet . . . blechhhhhhh!

My favorite team is NOT from Green Bay (think about that one), QC :p

Now if I'd said something like Dos Equis from The Planet...then you could worry! :D

I really dont have a preference. If its just cans of beer, I get Keystone or Bush (cheap beer).
