I have been subscribed to this thread from the beginning, now that I see it's June 9th, I think I can make it! No dive shows, no classes to teach. Count me in unless things change.

BTW, on you're way up from the keys, can you bring some Key Lime pie? Good God, I miss it terribly...

Not even March, and things are really starting to roll now. New faces popping up, and friends getting back together. Things are looking good all around. Lookin' forward to seeing friends and meeting some new people.

Oh... I'm well aware of that beautiful tree!!! You, Kimi, my family and I picked about ten pounds or more in less than ten minutes, and didn't even make a dent!!! Took them home and had Key Lime Aide, and used them for flavoring foods, flavoring water, and just eating them like little sour citrus candies!!!

Between Kimi's Key Lime Pie, and the conch and lobster......................................................... Oh my lord!!! There simply are no words...

Is it June yet???

Lets see now, the ones I was involved in, Lake Griffin, Crystal River, Then Bob tried to get one off the St Johns river, I think he was the only one that went, St Augustine, Nettles Island and now Fireman's house, so, this will be #5 unless I missed one somewhere.

Date is Saturday, June 9th at my house. I won't post the address on here (Veritas Honus may be lurking ). Actually, I'm keeping a running list of everyone who's interested and I'll send each a PM with the address and directions.

Show up whenever. We'll be starting in the a.m. and it will be an all day thing. Pool, tiki bar, bounce house for the kids, band later in the evening, beverages, grub, etc. Just bring a chair and whatever you have to have that you can't live without.

Not yet, but every day brings us a little bit closer....and today was 82? and sunny. So much so, I decided to go for a little boat ride. Tomorrow might even force me to put the Jet Fleas in the water for a bit of warm up time...

The water temps here at the marina have been in the low 70's lately. This has been one of the best winters we have had in a long time. Most of the offshore dolphin (mahi-mahi) fishing dosen't pick up till next month. We have been catching them on a regular basis the past couple weeks. Migrating mullet have already arrived in the river.

Alright... This presents quite a dilema.:facepalm: First off, I can't let down a friend... if for no other reason than, well, he's a friend. Second, I reeeaaally want some spirits from your very own still. Third, well, third is just the friend thing all over again. I must admit, though, the 14% aspect of that, lets just say intriguingly flavorful brew... I don't know, man... I'll just do what I gotta do, my Friend. If my drinking purple grog with you floats your boat... I'm there for ya...

So, beer and wine is fine to brew... but spirits is a No Go... I can easily see authorities imposing that $10,000.00 fine on a moonshiner who's delivering/selling; but a home-brewer??? I wouldn't expect it; but you just never know who has what agenda, when, why, and what mood they're in at that particular moment. A lot of variables there, Buddy. Your being a retired Battalion Chief could work either way... Over-look, or make an example of...

Either way you decide, one thing will be invariable... MMMMMMMMMMMMmmmmmmmmmmm... purple beer...:facepalm:

Ahah! I found me a diving buddy. I recently helped him find a 30' Boston Whaler. A perfect dive boat for us. We are planning on going after some lobster the next few months. You can count on me bringing some fresh fish......let's just hope some lobster come with them.

Looking foreward to getting back together with my friends....and hope to make some new ones.
