oh man...we gotta take that thing out for some fishing fun...
you've done about as much work as i have on my boat...
since i havent had a job in over 2 months, you'd think i would have been working on the boat, but been working on other projects around the house....
i did manage to get the railings mounted back on the boat :)

Hello everone,
It's good to be back, sorry I've been gone so long. glad to see a lot of my old friends are still here too. I would love to hook up with a group of us next year for a few days of fun.
mrdjflores, when I get home permanently you will have to come down and try it out it is a real blast. It will take your mind off your problems for a while. LOL
Sprintst, Triton, Last Mohican, glad to see all of you too.
Dustin, Glad you liked my work.

Take care everyone.

rrumba,
Right now it's running and water tight. I'm just going to play with it for a while and try to get the boat finished before spring. then I may look at restoring it. Oh wait I already have a second boat in my yard. Wifey not very happy about that either but oh well. I also found a old SeaRay cruiser, looks like it close to 30+ feet. Hummmmmm.
Take care

Hello Bob,

Just finished reading through your entire thread. Amazing work, thru and thru...

Thanks for taking the time to visit my resto thread, I am saving the marshmallow idea for the campfire this weekend:D.

Hope all is going well with you and yours.

The 8x8 is super cool!

I will continue to follow along as you get closer and closer to SPLASH Time!

Best Regards and Godspeed,
GT1M

Re: Timid but determined Glasstream restoration

Thanks GT,
I hoping after the first of the year I can get back on it. If the company I work for keeps their word I'll be home every night and get some serious work done. Unfortunately I am hearing whispers of another plant needing help and I may get stuck in it. We shall see.
Thanks for stopping in and I hope you enjoyed my thread.

Take care
Bob

Nice Argo Bob.You got one of the good 8 wheelers. The 6 wheel version is pretty cramped. They're quite popular around here as they are made about a half hour from here. There's a dealer just south of town as well. A buddy has one and it's a blast, and great in the winter with the track kit. ENJOY!

Re: Timid but determined Glasstream restoration

Thanks arch,
That is my plan. I have been looking forward to it for three years now. I know I still have a lot of work to do yet. even after I get it gel coated, the interior will take some time. Oh well I knew it was going to take a while. I will get her done yet.

Take care All
