Yup, the little thing I have been working on for the past few months, finally took it out.
ran great, was a little rough due to the flat bottom, but nothing back breaking. Had to adjust the throttle cable at first (was a tiller engine, new controlls) But otherwises fine.
Launched great, started right up, moved quickly, and easy to stear.
The caprice towed and launched it just fine too. all and all, a good little boat.
small and easy seems like the way to go. there were the guys there at the ramp with me, with there 30' + boats yelling and screaming at whoever was helping get it back on the trailer. Made me look like a pro taking all of 2 minutes to launch and retrieve the boat
