Re: under the weather

thanks everyone! already seen a spine specialist.he is one of the doctors that work on all the Nascar drivers when they need it.Best in the area.He is a brain surgeon and neck and spine.
The first doctor they sent me to was a joke so i insisted on seeing the pro.
It helps that my girlfriend is his office manager and schedules everything.Didn't even have to wait in the waiting room..;)
I'm just waiting on Workmans Comp to get off their butt and approve everything.

Re: under the weather

Thanks everyone!
Having good days and bad, depends on how much my disc is pressing on the nerve roots. The worst part is the waiting.I just want to get the surgery over with.I'm dieing to go fishing but have not been able to get anyone to go help me launch and retrieve the boat.I don't want to get out on the water alone and have my back act up...:)

I hear good things about the Laser Spine Institute in my neck of the woods. Minimally invasive and a high success rate; get better soon.

Re: under the weather

Hey Gary, Sorry to hear your plight, hope you get the surgery over with soon, and I wish you a speedy recovery. I'm on the road at this time, catching wireless with the laptop whenever I can, presently in Knoxsville Tenn. leaving for south Charlotte tomorrow, nearby Steelcreek Rd. area, staying by my son there till Saturday. Probably updating some parts on his 89' Force 125 motor, & 89'- 19' Bayliner, it also needs a new throttle cable, I don't know the cable length, or where to get it from? Anyway, there's no water in the lakes near there because of the drought though. Best of luck, feel better! Mike

Re: under the weather

Thanks Mike. Have a safe trip.
You may try West Marine on 49 about 3 miles south of 485.
Expensive but they may be able to find you one.
Lake Tillery is still full if its nice weather and you want to hit the water.
485 around the east side to highway 24-27,go east about 25 miles..;)
