I was told this was a StarCraft Islander but I'm confused as I'm not finding much information otherwise. Here are a few photos that could help determine what make and model this is. Thank you for your help as I'm trying to gather information for a small restoration project. I would like to get this boat out on the lake next spring.

Ayuh,.... Welcome Aboard,.... What's the Hin number, it should be on the starboard side of the transom, up high,..??
I can tell ya it Ain't a Starcraft Islander, I've got 1,...

Seein's yer question is 'bout the Hull's Id, I'll move this to the General boatin' forum,...

Only motor, 'n drive questions should be asked in This forum,... ;)

Deff not an Islander or a SC for that matter. Not many cabin cruisers or cuddies made in tri hulls and the ones I know of are not it

Thank you for the reply. Yes, I may have jumped the gun by putting it in this forum. I'm ultimately going to need to gather some engine advice. I know its a OMC 240 and it is a Ford engine; a 351 Windsor. I it has the 800 drive as well. Is it an American or Starcruiser?

I'll look for the numbers today. I just found some helpful manuals that should point me in the right direction. But if you come across the model let me know. Thank you.

Just an observation but that trailer looks WAAYY to small for that boat.

Looks like the winch stand can come forward enough for it to sit right.

So you think its not even a StarCraft? Okay. Well I'll keep searching. Do you have a best guess on what the make and model is?

If you just give us the Hull Identification Number stamped on the outside of the transom, we can likely tell you who made it.

Definitely not an Islander, I also own one.
But it is a nice looking and huge tri hull.

Ouch. Both OMC and Ford have been out of the marine business since the late '90's. Think long and hard about the availability of parts ande service. I'd never recommend that combo to anyone.

It IS a cool looking boat, tho.

Unfortunately, it looks old enough it may not have a HIN.

Yes. I have been searching and I cannot find out which model it is. I measured it and it is 23'. It has the OMC motor in it and the motor is factory a blue color. I can send pics of the engine soon. For the life of me I cannot find any information on the specific model. Thx Haulnazz15 for helping.

All OMC engines had the blue paint scheme. That engine/outdrive combo wad on hundreds of different boat models, so that doesn't help with the identification. We just know that it is a 1978 model made by Glastex. I'm sure someone will chime in with more info.

Yes, I agree. I kept driving past this boat at a farm house where I live. I'm buying it from the guy and we are trying to figure out a few things. I was given to him over a decade ago and he has little information about it. I do remember him saying it was technically a 78 but they sold it as a 79. It is hard finding information on these glastex boats. Can anyone point me in a direction were I can get some information on them? I keep looking for a boat called the Caribbean.
