Yes, it sure does :( But hey, why should the weather be any more cooperative now than it was all summer! I enjoy sitting at my desk at work while the sun shines only to have to cancel all my weekend plans due to rain. Argh.

I guess we can wait and see. It is supposed to clear up later, the morning it's supposed to rain. Maybe after we see how it shakes out, we could push it back a few hours?
Of course, they say the Monday and the rest of the week should be really nice.

Number daughter and her room mate may be coming from college to join us.:)

Well I wasn't going to make it till I saw this now I'm having second thoughts...justttt kidding haha.

Won't be joining this time, Its halloween..I'm 24, and I don't think I'll be rolling out of bed quite that early lol. Mom and Dad didn't sound too interested in comming up either (its a long drive). I'll keep my eyes out for trips in the spring!

Re: Upper Chesapeake Bay Fall Foliage Cruise

I can guarantee you good weather.
All I have to do is not show up.:)

LOL. Actually, in the past few hours, the forecast has improved! As has the marine forecast.

Regardless of the weather, we will be at the Goose for breakfast, either by water, or by land with the boat in tow. If it's not raining, we'll launch at Lapidum, and dock at the Goose. If it is raining, we'll come by land, eat, and hopefully the rain will have stopped and we'll launch next door.

Well, I am not back there yet, but from what I see online, it looks like things have inproved enough to go ahead with the plans!!!

I will be at the Goose for breakfast at 9am. I will probably follow Scotts plan on the weather as far as coming by land or water.

I hope most of you guys can make it! I am looking forward to meeting new members.

Arks - I am sorry to hear about your work schedule and Sunday. I was hoping to meet up with you again. I will try to hail you after breakfast to see if you made it down or not.

John and EZ - Will you guys be joining us? Before or after breakfast? We can decided a final cruise route when we see what the weather does. I have my fingers crossed for a beautiful day!

Supernova - Any update on your plans? Will you be able to make it? I was hoping to meet you too. Maybe we can try to hail you if you don't get a chance to check this thread before tomorrow.

I will try and pack some of this Cancun sunshine into my suitcase to bring home and share with you all tomorrow! :p

See you gus tomorrow, I hope!!!

My wife and I are planning on driving directly to the Goose and hoping to arrive as close to 9 as we can. We have to get our son up and over to his grandparents on the way. Daylight savings time should help us with this :)

DON'T FORGET ABOUT DAYLIGHT SAVINGS TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We are planning on going to breakfast. If daughter comes she will only coming for ride.
If I can't take a boat ride I can at least take my boat for a ride.:p
My biggest concern is whether we have to worry about swine flu being brought back from Mexico?:p

Cool!!!!
Now I guess I have to create a facebook.

I was against it for a long time, but it's an easy way to keep in touch with family and friends efficiently in this busy world.
They also have a full gamut of settings to protect your privacy etc.
I also love using it for photos, you can create albums easily, and link the photos, no need for another photo hosting service.

Also, it's good for business if you have one, I created a "fan" page for our business, we get sales from it, and it's free.

I was down to the boat and trailer today, and I have a flat on the trailer. I have a two hour tow to get down to Anchor Marine at the Goose, soooo I have to fix the trailer and charge the boat batteries soooooo what I need is absolute confirmation that if I go through all this hassle to get down there, the day will be beautiful and everything will go smoothly. lol Just trying to do my best.

Doesn't look too good.:(
What do you think?
I was planning on leaving here about 7:30.
I don't want to drive down in this slop if not taking boat out.

The forecast went from possibly good to most likely bad while I was in the shower :(
